About Us

Welcome to our Yoga Studio in New Orleans

Yoga 108 offers everything you need for your Bikram Yoga practice. You don't need prior experience of any kind to start practicing today. Our classes are open to all students regardless of experience level. Bikram designed this class for beginners, so know that with a little practice and experience, you'll quickly feel right at home at Yoga 108. Our instructors will guide you through the class with precise instructions for each posture. Simply, listen carefully and follow closely to the best of your ability, and you will receive 100% benefit. Do correctly what your body will allow today and come back tomorrow for more!

Check out our schedule page for the most up-to-date class times. We open our doors 30 minutes prior to each class and recommend that students arrive early, no later than 10 minutes before class start time.

If you are a new student, and you feel a little nervous, don't let the fear stop you! It's normal. Come in today! You should arrive at least 20 minutes before your first class. You can sign up online right now to register for your first class. At the studio, stop at the front desk to sign in and say hello to your teacher. All classes start on time, so don't be late. (Sorry, we do not allow students to enter the room once class has started.) Classes are 90 minutes and the room is heated, so dress accordingly. Take your second class within 24 hours. Your goal should be to complete 10 classes as soon as possible after signing up. After 10 classes, you will be hooked. Just make up your mind to do it, and your life will be transformed forever.

You will need a yoga mat, a yoga towel and a bottle of water for the classroom. (No glass bottles, please, there are lots of bare feet around!) Yoga 108 has the necessary items available for rent or purchase at the studio. Drink plenty of water throughout the day so you're well hydrated before coming to class. Don't eat heavily within 2 hours of the start of class. Leave your shoes outside the classroom, avoid heavy perfumes, visit with your friends in the lobby area and silence your cell phones during class, thus creating a peaceful environment for everyone's yoga experience.

Namaste! And, we'll see you in the hot room!
